是 Bordallo Pinheiro 對夏季最鮮明的詮釋。

紅、綠、黑三色的鮮明對比，
像是葡萄牙盛夏午後的光，
直接、飽滿，帶著一點玩心。

最具代表性的作品是 Watermelon Tureen（西瓜甕／湯盅）。
整體造型如切半的西瓜，蓋子是果皮外層的綠條紋，
內裡則以紅釉呈現果肉的色澤。

工匠以手工塑形完成果皮的弧度與厚度，
每一道紋理、每一顆黑籽的位置都由手繪完成，
燒製後的色澤層次自然、帶光，像是被陽光曬過的果皮。

這件作品的份量感強烈，厚實的陶體讓它兼具實用與展示的存在感。
